Humanists of Houston Development Fund

The "Humanists of Houston Development Fund" is a long-term investment account to be used eventually for the purchase of a building or other expenditures as decided by the chapter. The fund was started with slightly less than $300 in August 1992 with the Treasury of the old Humanists of Houston Chapter. It is presently invested in the Nicholas Fund. The following Table shows the growth of the Fund in terms of its end of year value:

Members might consider making a bequest to the Chapter in their wills. As a result of a talk to the Chapter by Mr Fritz Attermeier of the Houston Area Memorial Society Frank Prahl made a substantial bequest to the Chapter in his will.
