HOUSTON CHURCH OF FREETHOUGHT (HCOF) ANNUAL PICNIC
When: Saturday, April 28
Time: 1:00 - 4:30 PM.
Where: Bear Creek Park, Pavilion #5.  Avoid Hwy 6 ( due to repaving between I-10 and Clay Road). Instead go north from I-10 on Eldridge and turn left on Clay.  The entrance is on your left. ---- RSVP if possible to picnic@hcof.org.  HCOF will furnish hot dogs, hamburgers, condiments, plates and utensils, soda and bottled water.

FIRST UU OF HOUSTON TO DONATE TO HOH
As part of their usual practice of sharing with groups and philosophies they discuss in a service, the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Houston has generously decided to share their Sunday donations with the Humanists of Houston. The sermon will be called, "Reason and Reverence". It will be given by Rev. Jose Ballester at 9:30am and 11:30am. The sermon will be "an exploration of contemporary Religious Humanism" as the "definitive religion for this empirical age". The church has also provided a space for HOH to place its brochures and materials. HOH encourages its members to show their gratitude by attending one of these services!
